To the editor:
In response to David M. Harris of Kingston Springs, I defend Margaret Verran. She believes that even Dastardly Donald Sterling had a right to private ranting in his own property. Would you want that done to you? Me neither.
I think many in the nation have developed the Oprah Winfrey Syndrome which states that old white folks must die off so that we will have less racism. Now Oprah, shame on you. But, Dastardly Donald Sterling threw gasoline on that syndrome.
Just this morning, Dastardly made some remarks about Man Mountain Magic Johnson, an aids survivor who surely had to suffer great hardships to find dates or maybe not. I think he tried to match Wilt Chamberlin’s record.
For those of you who have been asleep in your backyard hammock for the last two weeks, Dastardly Donald Sterling is or maybe is not at this reading the owner of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Who are the losers in this soap opera?
1. The NAALCP (National Association for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People). Dastardly Donald gave them so much money over the years that they were getting ready to give him a great award. They knew his background. But, they knew his money better. They say they will give back the money but won’t say how much. That gives me laughs.
2. The Democrat Party loses big. Dastardly gave large sums to them also. They knew Dastardly Donald’s racist history, but they knew his money better.
Possible gainers: The gold digger / shake down artist – kept woman who taped the private conservation. I’d also get her a physical right now. Others gainers: shake down artists like Reverrrrend Jesse Jackson and Reverrrrrend Al Sharpton.
No offense (a little Vanderbilt football lingo for those who live on West end) to David Harris. I enjoyed his letter. And I enjoy the soap opera that now develops. I just can’t find the good characters.
