Right now, the Ranchettes are really beautiful in paradise. The trees, fields and the wildlife are awesome! SOME of us residents appreciate where we live, and then there are those who could give a crap about anything or anyone. For some of our older residents of the Ranchettes, one of the pleasures of life is being able to watch the wildlife entertain them.
Last Wednesday, July 16, around 2:00 p.m., that pleasure was marred by an idiot driver. PEOPLE….the speed limit of the Ranchettes is 25. Yes 2 – 5. It is not a race track and some of you have just not learned to observe speed limits. Then you think that WE want to hear your loud music bumping along. All of us along Campbell Ridge have enjoyed the sights of the doe and her twin fawns. So beautiful! Well, the idiot driver of the bright blue truck hit one of our precious twins and the witnesses said you did not even have the guts to stop, and it appeared you sped up as the deer came across the road. Something had spooked the deer. How low can you be! You are not worthy to live in this beautiful neighborhood. You are lower than septic tank scum and should not be allowed to drive on the streets. Signs have been up by neighbors to try and slow down drivers, but apparently we have illiterate people that cannot read or just don’t care. I hope you can live with yourself for hurting OUR baby fawn. But then too, you probably have no conscience because it is evident you have no heart. We know your vehicle and will be watching for you. Hope you can sleep at night.
Devon O’Day came by and took the little darling to the vet. Thanks Devon!! Unfortunately the baby had to be put to sleep because of so much injury to its chest. Such a waste!!
Folks, please please please slow down and help preserve our precious wildlife. Is that not the reason we all moved out here? Just remember, we are the intruders and we are in the animal’s territory.
